We record, categorize, and reconcile your income and expense transactions each month from your bank and credit card accounts. This ensures your books stay accurate, organized, and audit-ready year-round. You’ll receive up-to-date financials every month so you always know where your business stands.

We match every transaction in your books to your actual bank/credit card statements every month so your numbers are accurate to report monthly financials to you in real-time.

Monthly Financial Statements

Each month, you’ll receive two essential financial reports:

  1. Profit & Loss Statement: Shows your total income and expenses for the month and year-to-date, helping you see whether your business is making a profit or operating at a loss.

  2. Balance Sheet: Provides a snapshot of your business’s overall financial position, including what you own (assets), what you owe (liabilities), and what’s left over for you (equity).

These reports are delivered along with a 5-minute video summary highlighting the month’s results, with the focus being on accuracy and compliance. This allows you to monitor your numbers and track changes over time, so you always have a clear picture of your business’s financial health.

If you are looking for more in-depth analysis, a Quarterly or Monthly Analysis Packages are available for purchase as add-ons.

HST/GST Filing

If you’re registered for sales tax, we prepare and file your HST/GST returns on time, using your accurate monthly data. We want to keep you compliant and avoid penalties.

CRA Compliance Check - what’s Included:

    • We collect and store your receipts and supporting documents directly in Dext, integrating it with QuickBooks Online to streamline record-keeping.

Email Support

With the Starter Plan, you’ll have direct access to a CPA through email whenever you have bookkeeping or tax-related questions.

What You Can Expect:

  • Timely Responses: Emails are answered within 1 business day.

  • Straightforward Guidance: We’ll provide clear, practical answers to your bookkeeping and tax compliance questions.

  • Document Requests: If we need additional receipts, bank statements, or information for your bookkeeping or tax filings, you’ll receive clear instructions via email.

  • Record of Communication: Having answers and instructions in writing means you can easily refer back to them when needed.

Limitations in Starter Plan: Email support is best suited for straightforward questions and compliance-related issues. For in-depth discussions on your financials, strategy or complex situations, we recommend purchasing either the Quarterly or Monthly Advisory Services.

Starter Plan Add-Ons

T1 Personal Tax Filing - Optional to include free of charge

As a sole proprietor, your business and personal taxes are filed together. We prepare and file one personal tax return (T1) for the business owner only, along with the T2125 Statement of Business Income at year-end, ensuring your personal and business finances are accurately reported to the CRA.

Included:

  • Preparation and filing of one T1 personal tax return for the business owner

  • Preparation of the T2125 Statement of Business Income based on the bookkeeping we maintain throughout the year

  • Reporting of common tax slips such as:

    • T4 (employment)

    • T5 (investment income)

    • RRSP contributions

    • Tuition credits

    • Charitable donation receipts

  • Application of standard credits and deductions to reduce taxes owing

  • Direct electronic filing with the CRA on your behalf

  • Digital copies of your filed return and Notice of Assessment for your records

Payroll

Managing payroll can be one of the most time-consuming and stressful parts of running a business. Our payroll service ensures your employees are paid accurately and on time, while keeping you fully compliant with CRA requirements.

What’s Included:

  • Payroll processing for up to 5 employees – salaries, hourly wages, overtime, and vacation pay

  • Direct deposit setup and processing (employees are paid directly to their bank accounts)

  • Source deductions calculation & remittance (EI, CPP, and income tax withheld correctly and submitted to CRA)

  • T4 and T4A slips preparation & filing at year-end

  • Records of Employment (ROEs) when employees leave

  • Basic payroll support for common questions and adjustments

Why It Matters: Accurate payroll isn’t just about paying staff, it keeps your business in good standing with CRA and avoids costly penalties. With payroll handled by your CPA, you’ll save time, avoid errors, and have peace of mind that everything is done correctly.

Pricing:

  • 1–2 employees: $150/month

  • 3–5 employees: $200/month

Limitations under Starter Plan: Payroll under the Starter Plan is capped at 5 employees maximum. Beyond that, your business is better served under the Growth Plan, which is designed for scaling teams and more complex payroll structures.
